Hi,

I would like to display all the attendees for one of my event and display the company they are from. I have read on your old forum that this was in project for version 3.2. Is it still in project? Is there anyway to run around before then?

Thanks,

Daniel Riou

Hi Daniel,

3.2 has been delayed, so we’ve tried to add as many of the planned 3.2 features into 3.1. The answers shortcode is something we’ve added to 3.1.

You can use the [EE_ANSWER] shortcode in connection with the [LISTATTENDEES] shortcode to do what you’re after.

It does involve some template modifications, but there are step by step directions on how to set it up here:

Ok thanks, I don’t understand where do I add the newly created custom question variable to the markup. Is it in the attendee_list.php file?

Hi Daniel,

That’s correct. If you open up /templates/attendee_list.php and look at lines 87 & 88, there is some commented out sample code there that will help you get started. You can uncomment one of those lines (remove the double slashes before the code) and change the question ID to use the question you’d like to display the answer for.
