The custom files addon provides PHP files that allow you to override certain aspects of the plugin. For example, you can override some of the core functions of the plugin. There are also example templates that can be used in conjunction with example shortcodes to provide table layouts etc. You can also add your own functions that you would like included when the plugin runs. It should be used by people that are experienced with WordPress and PHP programming.
